The Presidential candidate of the labour party in the just concluded presidential election, Mr Gregory Peter Obi ,and Labour Party has taken Mr Ahmed Bola Tinubu, And Independent National electoral commission, All Progressive Congress to court. the motion was filed today 3rd march 2023.

The Labour Party and her candidate is asking the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, to give them permission to inspect the Ballot papers , and the inec result forms.

The suit is also asked the court for permission, to bring the matter outside the pre-hearing session, as stipulated by the law.

The motion was cited online, and appeared to have been received by the election tribunal in Abuja.

The motion is brought pursuant to section 36(1) of the constitution of Nigeria,1999 AS Amended, and section 146 of the electoral Act 2022, and Paragraph 47(1)54 of the first schedule to the electoral Act 2022, And under the inherent powers of the Tribunal.
